What is your mission?
Our goal is to help you explore Paris in an unconventional way while having fun! With our treasure hunts, you’ll learn about the history of Paris, discover parts of the city you’ve never seen before and see famous monuments and neighborhoods in a new light.
With our language learning activities, you’ll improve your French without the stress. Our fun activities and interactive tours increase learner engagement and promote confidence and ease in oral expression.
Can I do a hunt solo?
Yes! If you signed up alone, you can be assigned to a team if you’d like. This is a great way to meet new people! Otherwise, hunters who prefer exploring by themselves can enjoy the hunt solo at their own pace.
What if it rains?
Our hunts run rain or shine. As long as you dress for the weather, you will have fun.
What if I don’t know a lot about Paris?
While helpful, no prior knowledge of Paris is required to participate in any of our activities. In fact, whether this is your first time in the city or you’re a long-term Paris resident, you’re sure to learn something new when you take part in one of our hunts.
What do I need to bring?
We suggest that you wear comfortable clothes and shoes that are adapted to the weather conditions. Most of our activities take place outside. Depending on the activity, you may also be asked to bring a camera or smartphone to take pictures.
Is there a minimum age to participate in your activities?
Our activities are designed for adults and children over the age of 15. Younger children can participate, but the activities are not adapted for them. Any child in attendance must be accompanied by an adult.
Are your activities very physical?
Our activities are meant for the general public and do not involve any running or strenuous physical activity. That said, many of our activities involve walking and standing for long periods (roughly 1.5 hours on average). While the time limit ensures that groups finish the hunt within a reasonable time frame, our hunts are not designed to be a race.
How long do your hunts take?
The length of the activity depends on each activity and each group of participants. On average, expect for our activities to last from 1.5 hours to 2.5 hours. The expected duration of each activity is indicated in the activity description.
What language level is necessary to participate in your language activities?
Our activities are meant for French learners of all levels except complete beginners. Depending on your level, the activity may be 100% in French, but adapted so that you can understand (simplified vocabulary and a slower speaking pace). Your activity leader will help you with vocabulary and correct your grammar errors. Feel free to contact us if you’re still not sure if you have the necessary language level: firstname.lastname@example.org
What is your cancellation policy?
All bookings are non-refundable. Rescheduling requests must be made a minimum of 72 hours prior to the start of the original activity.
In rare cases, we may have to cancel your hunt for reasons outside our control. If this happens we will contact you and see if you would like to reschedule for a future date or if you would prefer a refund.
